Timothy Forage Hay is a lovely one for daily munching, especially for pets who enjoy a little extra interest in their hay pile.
As hay should make up around 80-90% of your pets’ daily diet, keep plenty available at all times for grazing, gnawing and natural foraging.
Serve as their main hay, or mix a handful through Timothy Hay or Meadow Hay for a tasty change in texture. Refresh daily, remove any damp or messy hay, and always serve with fresh water of course!
Just like us, pets love a bit of variety. Each bag of Timothy Forage Hay is enriched with a lovely mix of hays and grasses, all known for their beneficial health qualities and offering a banquet of flavours and textures for your pets.

It’s classic Timothy Hay, but with a little more going on. Our Timothy Forage Hay is grown locally as a herbal ley, so along with timothy you’ll find a richer mix of grasses and herbs.
That means more variety in smell, taste and texture, which many rabbits, guinea pigs and other small nibblers absolutely love. Expect the occasional surprise herb, pets are remarkably good at finding the tastiest bits first.
Classic timothy hay is more uniform and comes from one type of grass. Whereas Timothy Forage Hay has that mixed, meadow-style taste, with extra bits to rummage through. It’s a nice way to bring a bit more foraging interest into the daily routine.
It can absolutely be part of their everyday hay pile, especially if your pets enjoy a bit of variety in their diet. Some pet parents use it as their main hay, others sprinkle it through their usual Timothy Hay or Meadow Hay to keep things interesting.
It simply means the field has been sown with a mix of grasses and herbs instead of a single grass. There’s lots of natural variation from handful to handful, which keeps nibbling and foraging feeling more natural for your pets, just like they would look for in the wild.
Our Timothy Forage Hay is unchopped so you get those lovely long strands for rummaging and chewing.
It’s dust-extracted to keep it cleaner and more pleasant for tiny noses. It’s also sourced locally to our farm here in Northamptonshire.
