Straight from the hedgerow to the hay pile, our Whole Nettle is a naturally delicious treat for curious little foragers.
Carefully dried to preserve its natural goodness, nettle adds texture and variety to your pet’s diet while encouraging instinctive nibbling and exploration.
A firm favourite with many rabbits, guinea pigs and small pets alike, it’s a simple way to bring a little bit of the wild indoors.

Add a small pinch to your pets’ hay a few times a week, scatter a little through their favourite space, or hide a few pieces amongst hay and their usual feed so they have to sniff, search and work for every tasty bit.
Introduce slowly, especially for first-time nettle nibblers, and always serve alongside plenty of fresh hay, fresh water and their usual daily diet.
Not this kind. Once nettle is dried, the sting is no longer a sting in the same way, so it becomes a safe, nibble-ready forage. It still has that lovely ‘wild’ smell that gets noses twitching.
Whole Nettle is a brilliant forage to sprinkle through hay or pop into a forage pile. It adds variety, encourages natural foraging behaviour, and gives your small pets something a bit different to sniff out and nibble.
Whole Nettle is for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, hamsters, gerbils, rats and mice. With the smallest nibblers, start with a tiny sprinkle first and see how they get on.
Most people use it as a little regular topper rather than a big handful. A pinch here and there keeps variety up without overdoing it. If your pet has a sensitive tummy, start small and build slowly.
Keep it cool, dry, and able to breathe. Our planet-kind bags are just right, or an open-top jar or box in a dry cupboard works well. Avoid damp sheds or anywhere it could pick up moisture and lose that lovely “fresh forage” smell.
