FAQs
Dandelion root is a brilliant chewable forage. It adds variety, keeps nibblers busy, and the gnawing helps support natural tooth wear too.
Many rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets enjoy it as a little forage sprinkle alongside their hay.
Yes, that’s one of the big reasons people love it. Dandelion Root is naturally tough, so your pets can really get their teeth into it, which helps with the everyday gnawing they’re built for (handy, because many small pets’ front teeth keep growing!).
Dandelion Root is a popular pick for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, hamsters and other small pets.
If your pet has any ongoing health concerns, it’s always worth checking with your vet before adding new forages in.
Most pet parents treat it as a regular little extra, rather than an all-day snack. A small piece of Dandelion Root a few times a week is a common rhythm, then you can adjust based on your pet and the rest of their diet.
Both! Dandelion Root is well loved for tummy and wee support.
It’s a gentle, nature-led addition alongside a balanced diet with plenty of hay.
